@OP I’ve gotten a similar bump by switching just the wall opposite the track heads to an ultra‑matte in the same “LRV 92” range; in a 10×12 office it added about 6% at desk height because the bounce goes diffuse instead of specular. Keep the ceiling matte as you did and put only the trim in satin for edge definition, but watch for flashing with cheaper flats under grazing light. Did you log how the 12% changed when the desk was pulled 12–18" off that wall?
